Booking Terms and Conditions
After receipt of your booking, VST will invoice you for the appropriate fee which is payable within 14 days or before the course, if this is sooner.
Cancellations by Delegate
Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend. Cancellation of bookings can be made in writing up to 3 weeks before the course date and a refund will be paid less a £10 admin fee.
After this time reimbursement, in the case of non attendance, will not be possible although substitutions are welcomed for the same course on the same date.
Delegates booking bursary places and not attending/cancelling at short notice may be charged VST's standard fee for the day.
Should a delegate be unable to attend for any reason then the course fee still remains payable in full and delegates are NOT permitted to transfer to alternative courses, dates or locations.
This applies to each and every situation and circumstance that is beyond our direct control and includes issues that may also be outside the control of the delegate due to attend. This could include, for example but not exclusively:
· Adverse weather
· Transport problems including strike, dispute and failure
· Personal issues, both minor and serious
· Business issues including staff shortage, other meetings, audit or inspection
VST reserves the right to withdraw a course at any time. In these circumstances participants will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.
What happens after you book
You will receive an automated email acknowledging your booking and shortly afterwards an invoice, (if you don’t get these and after checking your spam folder, give us a ring immediately). Otherwise we will send a reminder email giving venue details two weeks before the course. Please contact us if you do not receive them.
Information given on the booking form will be transferred to a database to be used to manage training course administration. Summarised anonymous monitoring information may be passed on to funders. We never pass on your personal details to any other organisation for marketing or any other purposes.
Our courses are publicised by an e-newsletter. You will be asked on the course day if you wish to receive it or you can subscribe at any time by visiting our website. If you change your mind, you can opt out by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the foot of each newsletter and any postal mailings by informing us in writing.
