We have exciting opportunities for language interpreters across the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire to undertake paid assignments in a range of public sector settings, such as hospitals, GP surgeries, various local authorities and constabularies.
Working with INTRAN, Community Action Dacorum Herts Interpreting and Translation Service (HITS) is expanding geographically and so building on our 15 year experience as the contracted provider of interpreting and translation services to Local Authorities, NHS Trusts and Criminal Justice Agencies throughout Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes.
HITS have worked in partnership with INTRAN for many years. Between 2006 and 2009, HITS worked with INTRAN as the lead partner in the “Opening Doors” project that provided financial support to DPSI students in the East of England. Since 2009, we have been commissioned by INTRAN to provide face-to-face interpreting on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council.
We are an ethical provider and prides ourselves on fair and prompt payment and being transparent and accessible in all its dealing with interpreters. As a non-commercial provider, it does not have owners or shareholders and looks to invest any surplus income into its award-winning training courses.
